Population Non-Hispanic Black % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Seattle Metro

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The highest concentrations of Non-Hispanic Black residents in the Seattle metro cluster in a south-central corridor stretching from south Seattle through Renton and into Tacoma, with several zip codes in this belt reaching approximately 15–25% or higher. The eastern suburbs around Redmond and Bellevue, along with the northern and far western portions of the metro, remain notably low, generally below 5%. This north-south demographic gradient underscores persistent residential sorting, with the southernmost urban core and inner-ring suburbs serving as the primary centers of Black population concentration in the region.
