Population Non-Hispanic White % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Seattle Metro

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The highest concentrations of Non-Hispanic White residents, exceeding 80%, cluster in the outer suburban and exurban zip codes to the north, northwest, and far east of the metro, while a pronounced low-percentage corridor runs through south Seattle, Tukwila, Renton, Kent, and into central Tacoma, where values frequently drop below 40%. This north-south demographic divide is strikingly visible, with zip codes just a few miles apart—such as those in north Seattle versus the Rainier Valley area—differing by 30 or more percentage points. Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond on the Eastside occupy a middle range around 50–70%, suggesting moderate but not dominant Non-Hispanic White population shares in those technology-driven employment centers.
