Population Non-Hispanic White % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Boston Metro

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The highest concentrations of non-Hispanic white residents (80–100%) form a clear arc through the western and northwestern suburbs, including areas around Newton, Waltham, and the outermost communities, while the lowest percentages (below 20%) cluster tightly in central and southern Boston neighborhoods such as Roxbury, Dorchester, and Mattapan. A sharp demographic gradient is visible moving from downtown Boston outward, with zip codes transitioning from under 30% to over 70% non-Hispanic white within just a few miles. Weymouth Town and the southeastern coastal areas stand out as notably high-percentage enclaves (appearing yellow), contrasting with the more diverse adjacent zip codes in Quincy and along the immediate southern Boston corridor.
