Population Hispanic % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Chicago Metro

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

Hispanic population concentration in the Chicago metro forms a distinct corridor stretching from Cicero and the near southwest side of Chicago westward through Aurora and Elgin, where several zip codes exceed 50% Hispanic residents. The south and southeast lakefront areas, along with far southern exurban zip codes, display notably low Hispanic percentages, generally below 10%, creating a sharp demographic contrast with the western suburban belt. Gary and Hammond in northwest Indiana show moderate Hispanic shares in the 20–30% range, forming a secondary cluster separated from the primary Illinois concentration by a band of low-percentage zip codes on Chicago's far south side.
