Housing Owner-Occupied % of Units, by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Wyoming

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

Owner-occupancy rates across Wyoming's zip codes display considerable variation, ranging from around 40% in some southeastern areas near Cheyenne and Laramie to above 90% in several rural northern and western zip codes. A notable cluster of lower owner-occupancy (darker teal and purple shades) appears in the southeast corner of the state, likely corresponding to university towns and military-adjacent communities, while the highest rates concentrate in sparsely populated agricultural zip codes across the northern tier and western regions. The central portion of the state features many gray (no data) zones characteristic of unpopulated federal lands and tribal areas, interspersed with moderate owner-occupancy rates in the 60–75% range around smaller population centers.
