Population Non-Hispanic American Indian % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Illinois

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The vast majority of Illinois zip codes report Non-Hispanic American Indian populations below 1%, rendering the state almost uniformly dark purple across most of its geography. A small cluster of zip codes in the northwest portion of the state, roughly in the Rockford-to-Galena corridor, displays slightly elevated percentages in the 3–5% range, representing the most notable concentration visible on the map. Scattered zip codes in central and southern Illinois show modestly higher values, though many of the lighter-shaded areas appear to correspond to low-population rural ZCTAs where small absolute numbers can produce outsized percentage readings.
