Bachelor's Degree or Higher (% of Over 25) by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Indiana

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The Indianapolis metropolitan area stands out as the dominant cluster of high educational attainment, with several zip codes in the northern suburbs (Carmel, Fishers, Zionsville) reaching above 50%, while zip codes on the city's near-east and near-south sides drop sharply to under 15%. A secondary cluster of elevated bachelor's degree attainment appears in the West Lafayette/Lafayette area and around Bloomington in south-central Indiana, consistent with the presence of Purdue University and Indiana University. Rural southern Indiana and parts of east-central Indiana consistently register among the lowest rates statewide, generally falling below 15%, creating a pronounced north-to-south educational gradient outside of the university towns.
