Population Non-Hispanic American Indian % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Tennessee

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The vast majority of Tennessee zip codes report Non-Hispanic American Indian population shares below 1%, producing a uniformly dark purple landscape across most of the state. A notable concentration of slightly elevated percentages (approximately 3–10%) appears in the far northeastern corner near the Virginia border and in a cluster of zip codes in the western portion of the state near the Memphis metropolitan area. The single most prominent outlier is a zip code in the north-central part of western Tennessee displaying a teal hue consistent with roughly 15–20%, likely corresponding to an area with a small but concentrated Native American community.
