Population Non-Hispanic White % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Minneapolis Metro

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The highest concentrations of non-Hispanic white residents, exceeding 80–90%, cluster in the outer suburban ring—particularly in the western and northwestern suburbs around Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, and the northern exurbs—while the lowest percentages, dropping below 20–40%, are concentrated in north Minneapolis, portions of central Minneapolis, and pockets near downtown St. Paul. Brooklyn Park and several inner-ring suburbs display moderate diversity with white population shares in the 40–60% range, forming a transitional band between the predominantly white outer suburbs and the more diverse urban core. The east-west gradient is especially pronounced, with zip codes west of Minneapolis generally registering 20–30 percentage points higher than those in the urban center at comparable latitudes.
