Population Non-Hispanic Asian % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — West Virginia

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

West Virginia exhibits extremely low Non-Hispanic Asian population percentages across nearly all zip codes, with the vast majority falling below 2%, giving the state an overwhelmingly uniform dark purple appearance. The few notable exceptions include zip codes in the Eastern Panhandle near the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and a cluster around Morgantown in the north-central part of the state, likely driven by West Virginia University's international student and faculty population. The southern coalfield regions and rural interior counties register at or near 0%, reflecting some of the lowest Asian population concentrations of any state in the nation.
