Household Median Income by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Dallas Metro

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

High-income zip codes cluster prominently in the northern suburbs, particularly around McKinney, Plano, and the corridor stretching northeast, where median household incomes frequently exceed $125,000. A stark contrast emerges in south Dallas and several zip codes immediately surrounding the Dallas city center, where incomes drop below $30,000–$40,000, creating one of the sharpest income gradients in the metro along a roughly north-south axis. Fort Worth and Arlington display more moderate and mixed income levels, generally ranging from $40,000 to $80,000, without the extreme polarization seen in the eastern half of the metro.
