Household Median Income by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Denver Metro

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

Higher household median incomes concentrate in the southern suburbs around Centennial and the southwestern periphery, as well as in the northern reaches of the metro area, where zip codes frequently exceed $125,000. A distinct lower-income corridor runs through central Denver and into the Aurora area, with several zip codes falling below $50,000, creating a sharp contrast with the affluent zones immediately to their south and west. The western suburbs including Arvada and portions of Lakewood occupy a middle band, generally ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, serving as a transitional zone between the higher-income periphery and the lower-income urban core.
