High School Graduate (% of Over 25) by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Detroit Metro

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

High school graduation rates across the Detroit metro area exhibit a stark core-periphery gradient, with outer suburban zip codes in western Wayne, Oakland, and northern Macomb counties consistently reaching 90–100%, while zip codes within and immediately surrounding the City of Detroit fall well below 75%, with some dipping below 50%. The lowest-attainment cluster is concentrated in central and southwest Detroit, extending into parts of Dearborn, where deep purple and blue shading indicates graduation rates among the lowest in the metro. A secondary band of moderate attainment (75–85%) forms a transitional ring through inner-ring suburbs like Warren, Westland, and Taylor, separating the high-performing outer suburbs from the urban core.
