Population Non-Hispanic White % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Pennsylvania

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The vast majority of Pennsylvania's zip codes, particularly across the rural central and northern tiers, exceed 90% non-Hispanic white population, creating a dominant yellow band spanning the state's interior. Sharp demographic contrast emerges in the southeastern corner around Philadelphia, where multiple zip codes drop below 20% non-Hispanic white, and in the southwestern Pittsburgh metro area, which displays a more moderate but notable cluster of diversity in the 40–70% range. Secondary pockets of lower non-Hispanic white percentages appear around mid-sized cities such as Reading, Allentown, Harrisburg, and Erie, as well as in the north-central region likely corresponding to State College and surrounding college-town zip codes.
