Population Non-Hispanic White % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Georgia

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The Atlanta metropolitan area stands out with a pronounced cluster of very low non-Hispanic white percentages (under 20%) in its urban core, particularly in south and west Atlanta zip codes, contrasting sharply with predominantly white zip codes (80–100%) in the northern suburbs extending into the North Georgia mountains. A distinct belt of lower white population shares runs through the southwestern and east-central portions of the state, aligning with the historic Black Belt counties, while rural south-central Georgia displays a more heterogeneous patchwork of racial composition. Coastal zip codes around Savannah and Brunswick also show notable internal diversity, with adjacent zip codes sometimes differing by 40 or more percentage points.
