NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.
Zip codes in the northern portions of the metro—particularly around Georgetown and the outer edges of Williamson County—consistently exhibit U.S. citizenship rates above 95% among the adult population, while a sharp decline is evident moving into central and south Austin, where several zip codes fall below 80%. The lowest citizenship percentages cluster in the southeastern and far southern portions of the metro, with a few zip codes near and south of downtown Austin dropping to approximately 75%, suggesting concentrated immigrant populations in those areas. A notable pocket of higher non-citizen share also appears in a central-west corridor, contrasting with the uniformly high citizenship rates across the more suburban and exurban periphery.
