% of Population on Food Stamps or SNAP (Last 12 Months), by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Utah

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

SNAP participation rates across Utah exhibit a clear urban-rural divide, with the highest concentrations—exceeding 25-35%—clustered along the Wasatch Front corridor from Ogden through Salt Lake City and into Provo, as well as in isolated pockets in the state's southeastern corner near the Navajo Nation. Much of rural central and western Utah appears in light gray, indicating either very low SNAP usage or insufficient population data for those zip codes. A notable outlier appears in the south-central region near Beaver/Iron County area, where a small cluster reaches yellow (approximately 40-50%), contrasting sharply with surrounding lower-participation zones.
