Population Non-Hispanic White % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Maine

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

Maine is overwhelmingly non-Hispanic White across nearly all zip codes, with the vast majority of the state shaded in yellow tones indicating 90–100% White population shares. The most notable exception is a cluster of zip codes in Washington County along the eastern border—likely encompassing the Passamaquoddy tribal lands near Pleasant Point and Indian Township—where the non-Hispanic White percentage drops to approximately 40–60%. Scattered zip codes in southern Maine and a few in the central-northern region show slightly lower percentages in the 70–85% range, likely corresponding to more urbanized areas such as Portland and Lewiston that have received recent immigrant and refugee populations.
