NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.
The Black Hills region in southwestern South Dakota exhibits notably higher median home values, with several zip codes in the Rapid City and Spearfish corridor reaching $250,000–$400,000+, while the Sioux Falls metro area in the southeast shows a similar pocket of elevated values. Much of central and north-central South Dakota displays consistently lower median values in the $50,000–$150,000 range, with the lowest values concentrated in rural zip codes across the Pine Ridge and Rosebud reservation areas in the south-central part of the state. A single zip code in the northeast appears to reach the highest value tier on the map, standing out as a bright outlier against the otherwise moderate values of the eastern half of the state.
