Household Median Income by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Kentucky

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The highest median household incomes in Kentucky concentrate in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati around Boone and Kenton counties, as well as in select zip codes east of Louisville and near Lexington, where several areas exceed $125,000. A stark economic divide runs along the Appalachian region in southeastern Kentucky, where numerous zip codes fall below $30,000 in median household income, representing some of the lowest figures in the state. Western Kentucky generally exhibits moderate income levels in the $40,000–$60,000 range, with pockets of higher income near Bowling Green and along the Ohio River corridor.
