Population Non-Hispanic Black % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Kentucky

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The highest concentrations of Non-Hispanic Black population in Kentucky are sharply clustered in the Louisville metro area, where at least one zip code exceeds 50%, and in select zip codes around Lexington and the western Purchase region near Paducah. Eastern Kentucky's Appalachian zip codes are almost uniformly below 5%, creating a stark east-west demographic divide across the state. Smaller pockets of moderate Black population percentages (10–20%) appear scattered along the Ohio River corridor in western Kentucky and near military installations like Fort Campbell.
