Housing % of Units Built Since 2010, by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Denver Metro

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The highest concentrations of post-2010 housing construction (25–30%+) cluster prominently in the northern and northeastern periphery of the metro area, particularly in zip codes north of Thornton and Broomfield, as well as in the far eastern reaches beyond Aurora—consistent with greenfield suburban expansion on the metro fringe. Central Denver, Lakewood, and much of the western corridor show markedly lower shares (0–8%), reflecting the built-out nature of these established neighborhoods where new construction is limited to infill. A notable contrast exists between the southwestern quadrant, which contains some of the lowest percentages in the metro area (deep purple, near 0%), and the adjacent southeastern zones approaching Centennial, which display a more moderate but uneven mix of new development.
