High School Graduate (% of Over 25) by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Alaska

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

High school graduation rates across Alaska's zip codes display considerable geographic variation, with urban areas around Anchorage and Fairbanks generally exhibiting rates in the 85–95% range, while many remote rural zip codes—particularly in western and southwestern Alaska, including parts of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta and the Aleutian chain—fall notably lower, sometimes below 60%. Several isolated zip codes in the interior and along the northern coast show strikingly low attainment levels (dark purple/blue tones), contrasting sharply with pockets of near-100% graduation rates (yellow) scattered in both southeastern Alaska and select areas near major population centers. The southeastern panhandle region shows a mix of moderate-to-high graduation rates, while the vast gray (no data) areas in northern and central Alaska reflect the extremely sparse population density characteristic of the state's interior.
