NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.
Zip codes in the Hillsboro and Beaverton corridor on the west side of the metro exhibit notably lower U.S. citizenship rates among adults, dropping to around 75–85%, consistent with the area's large immigrant workforce concentrated in the tech and manufacturing sectors. In contrast, outer southeast Portland, eastern Gresham, and much of the southern metro area display citizenship rates approaching 95–100%, as do several zip codes in northern Clark County near Vancouver. The sharpest spatial gradient runs east-west through central Washington County, where adjacent zip codes can differ by 10–15 percentage points.
