Population Non-Hispanic American Indian % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Washington

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The highest concentrations of Non-Hispanic American Indian population, exceeding 25–50%, cluster prominently in north-central Washington zip codes corresponding to the Colville and Yakama reservation areas, with several zip codes in the Yakama Nation region in south-central Washington also reaching elevated percentages. The western half of the state, including the greater Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan corridor and Puget Sound region, generally registers below 3%, though isolated coastal zip codes near tribal lands such as the Quinault and Shoalwater Bay reservations show notably higher shares. A stark urban-rural and reservation-nonreservation divide is evident, with the vast majority of eastern Washington's non-reservation zip codes remaining below 5% despite their proximity to high-concentration areas.
