Population Non-Hispanic Black % by Zip Code (ZCTA5) — Nebraska

NOTE: Gray indicates insufficient data or a suppressed estimate.

The Omaha metropolitan area in eastern Nebraska contains the state's highest concentrations of Non-Hispanic Black residents, with several zip codes reaching 15–40% or higher, reflecting long-standing patterns of residential segregation. A secondary but much smaller cluster appears in the south-central part of the state, likely corresponding to communities around Lexington, Grand Island, and Hastings, where percentages reach roughly 5–10%. The vast majority of Nebraska's zip codes, particularly across the western two-thirds and rural areas, register near 0%, underscoring the extreme geographic concentration of the state's Black population in a handful of urban cores.
